Who we are
This site is run by Frogfish LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company, of 5203 Juan Tabo Blvd NE, Ste 2B, Albuquerque, NM 87111, USA. Frogfish LLC is the controller of the personal data described here. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Frogfish LLC.
Write to us about anything in this policy at info@frogfish.io.
What we collect
When you browse the site
The site has no accounts, no forms, and no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
Like any website, the servers that send you a page receive your device's IP address and the details your browser sends with each request, such as the address requested and the browser type. They keep short technical logs of requests, which are used only to keep the site running and secure.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, what you write, and anything else you choose to send.
How we use it
- To answer you, and to carry on any conversation or business that follows.
- To keep the site running, secure and free of abuse.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We don't sell personal data, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't make automated decisions about you. We won't send you marketing unless you ask for it.
Legal basis
Where the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in running a secure website and answering the people who contact us. Where you contact us about working together, we also rely on taking steps towards a contract at your request, and where the law requires us to keep information, on that legal obligation.
Who else handles it
These providers process data on our behalf to run the site and our email:
- DigitalOcean provides the servers the site runs on.
- Cloudflare runs the site's DNS and delivers its stylesheets and images.
- Microsoft provides our email, through Microsoft 365.
They may process data in the United States and other countries. Each offers standard contractual clauses for transfers of personal data out of the UK and the European Economic Area. We share personal data with anyone else only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Server logs are kept only as long as they're needed to run and secure the site, and then deleted. Emails are kept as long as the conversation, and any business that follows from it, needs them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or stop using it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To do any of these, email info@frogfish.io.
You can also complain to a data protection authority, such as the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK or the authority where you live in the European Union. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, and access to its servers is restricted to the people who run them. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, but we take care to protect what we hold.
Children
This site is for businesses and professionals, and isn't aimed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll publish the new version here and update the date at the top.
